Put the run back in the Rebels

I was interested in your article a few days ago about the transfers from the UNLV basketball team.

I’m not an alumnus or a season ticket holder. I’m just a college basketball fan.

I remember one of Dave Rice’s first interviews in which he stated he was going to bring back the “run” to the Runnin’ Rebels.

Don’t count St. Katherine; here’s the run in the Runnin’ Rebels: They’ve scored 60, 59, 60, 57, 75 (against Albany) and 55.

I keep hearing about all these stars being recruited, but they seemed to be out of their comfort zone. Let them run.

I saw Bryce Dejean-Jones for Iowa State on Dec. 9, and he looked like a different player with more confidence.

Dave, put the run back. We’re all waiting.
