In reference to the news that Metro Police will no longer respond to noninjury crashes, I thought that was the job of the Metro guys on motorcycles.
It’s a good thought, having officers respond to more serious cases, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a mess when when two or more people collide.
People are supposed to get information, pictures and witnesses, then go to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Just what our DMV needs: more people to attend to.
This is so different than what we’ve been accustomed to. I wonder whether this change would have happened if we had voted for more cops. When can we vote again?
