I am so glad that Mike Reese of the Southern Nevada Coalition for Wildlife explained what a favor he is doing the animals in Nevada by allowing them to be caught by trappers.
I was under the crazy assumption that getting caught in a steel leg trap for several days without food and water might be slightly uncomfortable, but apparently Reese thinks the animals are being done a favor.
They’re going to die a miserable death anyway, you see, and trappers are just helping them speed up the process!
Then he goes on to tell us that because of drought, disease and fires, hunting and trapping programs are essential for wildlife to have any chance of a healthy and sustainable environment.
I wonder how animals survived the millions of years before Reese and his agency.
