Regarding the letter “Ban coyote-killing contests in Nevada” (Las Vegas Sun, March 30):
Indeed, we need to ban this senseless “sport” in Nevada. Sadly, we just read that the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners has rejected the ban. What a terrible message to leave for future generations. We urge all Nevadans to write to their representatives in the Nevada Legislature, urging them to support a ban on killing these magnificent contributors to our ecosystem.
