In support of Hillary Clinton for president

I recently read your article about Hillary Clinton and her method to win over Nevada (“Here’s how Hillary Clinton plans to win Nevada,” Las Vegas Sun, April 19).

I am very excited see a woman running for president. There is a stigma that only a man can be president of the United States. I see nothing wrong with Clinton running in this election. Every day we should strive to make history, and Clinton taking center stage shows women everywhere they can dream big.

I think it’s a smart idea to try to win over Nevada because she is tackling issues that need attention. Clinton is voicing her opinions to Hispanics and Asians because they are a huge market for votes. She wants to make sure Nevada knows she cares and wants to make changes for the better.

Clinton has extensive education in politics and knows what it takes to make a difference. She is known for being secretary of state, a U.S. senator and a first lady. She is ready to win over Nevada and many more from here on out and become the first female president.
