It’s a sad day in American when the people who are given the job of protecting us end up dead.
We are a nation of laws. Every classroom in America needs to devote a daily thank-you note to our police officers after children recite the flag salute, before they begin the day.
If a sense of appreciation was instilled in our youth at an early age, all Americans would benefit.
