Now that Jeb Bush may run for president, the Iraq War is brought back into focus.
It has always been my belief that the real reason for that war was a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein for his reputed attempt to assassinate George W. Bush’s father in Kuwait. When Husseim was captured, George W. grinned and said, “We got the SOB.”
I’m 89 years old and served in Europe during World War II. There is nothing worse than war.
All I can say is shame, shame, shame.
