letter to the editor:

All lives matter, regardless of color

I cannot help but to speak up with Wayne Colla from Boulder City and his email about where is the outrage when an unarmed white man is gunned down by black teenagers, just for kicks. Where are you now, Rev. Al Sharpton, or Eric Holder, or Jon Stewart or even our president? Doesn’t a white life matter? Was James Stuhlman trying to wrestle the gun away from these teenagers or was he stealing cigars from them? I was appalled with the responses when these black teenagers were shot by white police officers and agreed that the protesters had the right to march against the senseless violence, but to protest violence with more violence just showed ignorance, not justice. All life matters, whether white, black or any other color. It is the gun violence that is wrong, not the color of the person that is killed. Please, America, wake up before it is too late.
