letters to the editor:

Trump’s loyalties lie on other side of old Iron Curtain

It has been reported that Paul Manafort, the adviser who was hired by Donald Trump to add stability and institutional know-how to Trump’s scatterbrain presidential campaign and suddenly resigned, has deep ties to pro-Russia politicians in Ukraine.

Trump told The New York Times on July 21 that as president, he would not necessarily come to the aid of NATO states threatened by Russia. Also, in a 2014 video, Trump said he had spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin, indirectly and directly, and that Putin “could not have been nicer.” On July 28, Trump claimed he has never spoken to Putin.

If Putin were to pick a candidate to undermine American interests and advance his own, he’d pick a person who looks and acts a lot like Trump.

Now would be a good time for all Americans to ask three questions: 1) Is Trump being groomed to be Russia’s Manchurian candidate? 2) Is Manafort Russia’s undercover agent hired to undermine America’s presidential election? And 3) How much would Manafort and Russia both benefit if Trump were to win? Remember, Trump shows no loyalty to either the Democrats or the Republicans, but he does praise Putin quite often.
