Trump facing
 awful decision

Since 1950 we have been either at war or in conflict with North Korea, which has said it would destroy the United States. The last three presidents’ negotiations have failed to bring about a resolution.

North Korea has demonstrated it will soon have the capability to send a nuclear missile and destroy our cities. The North Koreans already could give a nuclear weapon to ISIS via Iran and smuggle it through our borders. ISIS would explode one here.

With past presidents having kicked the can down the road, President Donald Trump is forced to do something about the now-real threat. Trump’s different approach is to force North Korea to stop its development of missiles and nuclear warheads. But he is attacked for not using the failed light negotiation approach.

If Trump’s approach fails, the choices are to accept North Korea with the capability to destroy our cities or to destroy the North Korean capability to build the missiles and warheads.

History has shown that when countries or organizations threaten to take actions, they usually do. Think about Germany, the USSR, ISIS, etc.

The recent attack in Las Vegas killed 58 people. A warhead detonated on the Strip could kill around 1 million. Do you really want to take that risk?

The alternative to destroy the North Korea capability now could cost many tens of thousands of South Korean and U.S. soldier’s lives, depending on how we approach the war. North Korea is poised to attack the South Korea capital city.

Trump has to make a terrible decision if his approach to resolution doesn’t work.
