When President Donald Trump said he saw no reason why Russia “would” interfere with our elections, he showed us that he is a blind fool, someone who cannot accept reality even when it punches him in the face.
Let’s now do the unthinkable and take Trump at his word. Let’s accept his claim that he meant to say “wouldn’t.” That means Trump recognizes that Putin did, in fact, interfere in our election to undermine our country. Yet he still cozies up to Putin?
In the beginning, Trump was merely a fool. He should have stuck with that position. In the end, with the word “wouldn’t,” Trump convicts himself. Now he is starting to build a stronger case for treason.
