I have been reading the newspaper daily for more than 70 years. With cable TV news, it’s either far left or far right politically. Depending on the person, it is mostly negative. Viewers can actually get programmed and become like the hosts of these biased news shows.
With the paper, you can skip over the negativity easily because you are in charge. The print media prints mostly facts, not opinions. Of course, the morning TV news is nice, talking mostly about current events.
I refuse to watch the cable stations and go to bed angry.
