The United States is making intractable enemies of the children who are being separated from their parents at the border for the “crime” of seeking asylum in what used to be the most just and compassionate country in the world.
Have our leaders not learned anything from history? Have they no common sense or empathy? The crime here is what our government has done — and we will all pay for it in the years to come.
