One of the takeaways of Donald Trump’s political career is that if one’s life and business activities are not squeaky clean, then one should forgo getting into the public arena.
In hindsight, one has to wonder if Trump would do it all over again if he could turn back history.
Had Trump not run for political office, there is a good chance that today he would be enjoying a wonderful retirement playing golf, instead of seeing his financial empire crumbling under public scrutiny and civil penalties.
