I recently came across a story on the internet that highlighted the best places to shelter in America, in the event of a war.
Of course, the most popular places were: 1) rural areas, 2) seashores and 3) mountainous regions.
Not so coincidentally, these are also the most popular destinations for tourists. I had to double-check to see if this editorial was being sponsored by a travel company or maybe a local chamber of commerce. It was not.
But of even greater significance is the fact that we’re even discussing the possibility of armed conflict here at home.
When President Franklin D. Roosevelt famously proclaimed that our greatest fear was fear itself, he couldn’t possibly have known that one day domestic terrorists might prove him wrong.
