Fire at vacant downtown house possibly caused by transient: Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012; A fire early Sunday at a vacant home in downtown Las Vegas might have been started by a homeless person. Numerous calls were made around 4:30 a.m. about a fire at a one-story house at 308 S. 10th St., said Tim Szymanski, a spokesman for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
