Police: Person in custody after rooftop standoff

A person who refused to come down from the roof of a house in Las Vegas was taken into custody today after a brief standoff with officers, according to Metro Police.

The incident, which started about 4 p.m. in the 1800 block of Ridgefield Drive, lasted a little less than an hour, police said.

Police said the person was wanted but did not provide any additional details.
