Two fugitives wanted in a recent fatal shooting outside a Seattle restaurant were arrested this morning in Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

William Tolliver and Marquise Tolbert, both 24, were being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a fugitive warrant, jail logs show.

The were taken into custody shortly before 11 a.m. in the 3700 block of West Flamingo Road, just west of the Strip, Lt. Ken Nogle said. When encountered by Metro detectives, the suspects complied with no further incident, Nogle said.

They were wanted after the Jan. 22 shooting in downtown Seattle which killed one and wounded seven others, including a 9-year-old.

One of the people hospitalized was arrested for alleged involvement in the shootout. Jamel Jackson, 21, has since been charged with a count of unlawful possession of a firearm, according to the Seattle Times.

Tolliver and Tolbert have extensive arrest records and gang connections, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said.
