Two missing children last seen Tuesday afternoon in a central valley neighborhood near Huntridge Park have been located safely, Metro Police said Wednesday morning.
The girls, 6 and 14, might have been in "severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance,” police said late Tuesday, asking for the public’s assistance in finding them.
The girls were last spotted about 3:15 p.m. near the 1200 block of Chapman Drive, near 15th Street and Charleston Boulevard, police said.
Police did not provide any details about where or how the girls were found.
