A man beat his elderly father to death following an argument early today in southeast Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Police were notified of the domestic dispute about 12:30 a.m., police said.
As officers were on the way to the 4800 block of Van Carol Drive, the suspect called 911 to say his father was on the way to Spring Valley Hospital, where he died, police said.
The elderly victim, who suffered injuries to his chest and face, will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Police did not provide additional details, including the elderly man’s age.
