A woman is facing an arson charge following an apartment fire that caused about $100,000 in damage Tuesday morning in Henderson, authorities said.
Tashika Coleman, 42, is jailed at the Henderson Detention Center on a count of first-degree arson with bail set at $20,000, jail logs show.
About 5 a.m., firefighters responded to the Hampton Court Apartments, 1030 Center St., near Warm Springs Road and Lake Mead Parkway, officials said.
The fire was contained to a single apartment, which was occupied by Coleman, officials said. It wasn’t clear what led to her arrest.
Before being booked, she was hospitalized for an unrelated condition, officials said.
