The poker room at Encore is set to open later this month, according to a news release Friday from Wynn Resorts.
The 24-hour poker room will open at noon on Sept. 30.
“Our team is looking forward to delivering the same exceptional poker experience Wynn has always been known for in a safe and enjoyable environment for all,” Ryan Beauregard, executive director of poker operations for Wynn’s Las Vegas resorts, said in a statement.
The poker room has not been open since mid-March, when the state ordered casinos and other nonessential businesses closed to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Encore reopened on June 4.
The poker room will have fewer tables to adhere to social distancing standards, and tables will have Plexiglass dividers between each player.
Tables will seat eight players, who will be required to wear face masks.
