A motorist who veered into oncoming traffic this morning was killed when he crashed into a tractor-trailer, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. on Pabco Road, near Lake Mead Boulevard, police said.
The driver of a Honda Civic was negotiating a curve when he crossed the double yellow lines into the path of the truck, police said.
The motorist, whose age wasn’t released, died at the scene, police said. The truck driver was treated for minor injuries at University Medical Center, police said.
The crash resulted in the 31st traffic fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
