Police: Pedestrian fatally struck by RV in central Las Vegas

A pedestrian was killed after being run over by a motor home in central Las Vegas, authorities said.

Metropolitan Police investigators said an RV was waiting to make a turn just after 10 a.m. Saturday.

When the light turned green, witnesses said a pedestrian walking in the marked crosswalk was knocked down by the RV.

Police said the 71-year-old Las Vegas man suffered fatal injuries. His name hasn’t been released yet.

The unidentified 65-year-old RV driver from New Jersey showed no signs of impairment, according to police.
