A look at the MSG Sphere theater and performance venue that’s currently under-construction on the corner of Sands Avenue and Koval Lane, Thursday, June 17, 2021.

A noose was found hanging at the MSG Sphere construction site near the Strip, according to the venue’s builder.

Through an emailed statement from a spokesman Thursday, MSG Entertainment Corp. called the discovery “disgusting and vile.”

MSG Entertainment is the company behind the $1.7 billion Sphere, which will be a domed entertainment venue near the Venetian.

The 17,500-seat venue is scheduled to open sometime in 2023.

“We are working with local authorities to identify who is responsible so that appropriate action can be taken,” the company said in its statement. “We will reinforce our policy of zero tolerance for harassment of any kind — including racist and harmful actions such as this.”

It’s not known when the noose was discovered. The Sphere project is a collaboration between MSG Entertainment and Las Vegas Sands Corp.
