Las Vegas police ID suspect in Chinatown shooting

Metro Police has identified a suspect of a shooting at a restaurant in Chinatown earlier this week that left an employee injured.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating Rashawn Gaston-Anderson, 23. He’s known to frequent tourist corridor areas, police said in a release.

Gaston-Anderson is believed to have entered through the back door of the ShangHai Eats restaurant in the 4200 block of Spring Mountain Road just before 3 a.m. Monday, police said. He fired multiple rounds at an employee, and was last seen heading north from the business.

The victim, whom police have not identified, was transported to University Medical Center Trauma and is now in stable condition, police said.
