Pedestrian on I-15 near Overton is hit, killed by RV

An RV struck and killed a pedestrian Monday afternoon on a freeway lane about 60 miles north of Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported about 12:30 p.m. Monday on northbound Interstate 15 mile marker 108, near Overton, the patrol said. 

Michael Stanley Olszewski, 48, who was on the freeway shoulder, was hit when he entered a traffic lane in front of a Newmar Bay Star RV, the patrol said.

It wasn’t clear what Olszewski, a resident of Canton, Michigan, was doing on the freeway.
