Metro Police is investigating a deadly shooting that took place in the 3700 block of Hazelwood Street, the agency said Tuesday.
At 3:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported shooting near the intersection of Twain Avenue and University Center Drive, Metro said in a release. Arriving officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds, and medical personnel pronounced them dead at the scene.
Neither a description of the victim nor the suspect was released. The matter remains an ongoing investigation, police said.
