A woman removed from a flight for not wearing a mask was arrested at the Las Vegas airport after causing a disturbance, yelling a profanity and “Let’s go Brandon,” according to Metro Police.

Katrina Alspaugh, 51, of Las Vegas was arrested on a misdemeanor count of violating airport rules and booked at the Clark County Detention Center, police said.

Officers responded about 1:50 p.m. Sunday at McCarran International Airport to a call of a woman refusing to wear a mask and creating a disturbance, a Metro arrest report said.

When officers met Alspaugh, she had already been removed from an Allegiant Airlines flight by an employee and was standing on the jet bridge, police said.

Officers told her to leave the airport because her ticket was voided, but she became argumentative, creating a disturbance, police said.

She was loudly yelling a profanity and “Let’s go Brandon,” police said. The Brandon reference is a coded insult of President Joe Biden.

Earlier in the day, officers had talked with Alspaugh after she got into an argument with another passenger at a security checkpoint over her not wearing a mask, police said.
