Chance the Golden Gila Monster poses with a member of the Golden Aces during the third period of an NHL hockey game at T-Mobile Arena Friday Dec. 10, 2021.

Of 29 National Hockey League mascots, all but one will be at this week’s All-Star fan fest at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Dubbed the Truly Hard Seltzer NHL Fan Fair, the four-day event runs Thursday through Sunday at the center’s West Hall.

The event coincides with the league’s All-Star Game on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena. It’s the first time Las Vegas has hosted the NHL’s annual midseason player showcase.

Along with opportunities for autographs from a list of NHL greats, hockey fans will be able to see the mascots — including Chance of the Vegas Golden Knights — compete in “hockey skills and athletic prowess” competitions, the league said.

That will include a dodgeball event, broomball game, and assorted “medieval games,” the league said.

Except for the Calgary Flames, every NHL franchise with a mascot will be represented. The Seattle Kraken, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings don’t have mascots.

Attendees will be able to buy NHL merchandise, get a photo with the league’s famous Stanley Cup trophy and participate in hockey skills challenges.

There will also be a Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit and a mobile museum that celebrates the history and achievements of Black hockey players.

Former NHL players scheduled to appear include Mark Messier, Curtis Joseph, Paul Coffey, Chris Chelios and former Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland.

Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for children ages 4 to 12, seniors, college students and members of the military. Children 3 and under are free.
