Magic Mike Live” continues its global growth since first opening in Las Vegas in 2017 with the upcoming launch of a multi-year North American tour that will premiere in Miami in October. A custom-built venue on Key Biscayne will host a six-month run of the show before it moves on to a new city, while resident shows in Las Vegas and London will continue. The Vegas version at Sahara Las Vegas just revamped its Magic Pass VIP program, which now includes a personal concierge who will assist with any and all reservations, the “Magic Mike Live” tasting menu at Bazaar Meat before the show, a personal-sized bottle of LaMarca Prosecca, a meet and greet with cast members after the show, a gift box and access to discounts on merchandise, specialty cocktails and more.

ZZ Top will return to Las Vegas for the first time since the loss of legendary founding bass player Dusty Hill, who died in July 2021. The blues-rock trio of Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and longtime guitar tech Elwood Francis in Hill’s role will take the stage at the Venetian Theatre for five shows from December 3-10. Tickets go on sale July 22 via Ticketmaster.

Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is set to make a grand return to the Strip this fall, but he’ll be moving to a different room, performing at Zappos Theater on November 5 and 12 and December 2. Dunham’s puppet-filled romp has been stationed at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for years, but now he will bounce across the street to the Planet Hollywood space—possibly to keep the second half of the year open for Adele at the Colosseum.

In more event announcements this week: Maze featuring Frankie Beverly will hit the stage at the Amp at Craig Ranch Park in North Las Vegas for Labor Day weekend on September 3; Grammy-winning singer Lauren Daigle will play Resorts World Theatre on September 24; Christopher Cross brings his 40th anniversary tour to the Pearl at the Palms on September 30; Killswitch Engage will headline the Metal Blade records 40th anniversary event on October 5 at the House of Blues with support from Fit For an Autopsy and Visigoth; Adam Lambert brings a three-show limited engagement dubbed The Witch Hunt to Wynn’s Encore Theater on October 26, 28 and 29; Ranchera singer Paquita la del Barrio will perform at the Theater at Virgin on November 26 with Marisela and Lorenzo de Monteclaro; And David Foster returns to Encore Theater for two more concerts on December 16 and 17.

The new Rumbazo Latin music festival announced some of the artists on its lineup for September 10 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, and it’s an impressive collection of globally-renowned musicians. Maluma, Becky G, Prince Royce, Natanael Cano, Ivy Queen, Omar Apollo, Yendry, Chimbala, Blessd, Jon Z and Angie Vee are all on the roster so far, with more names set to join in the coming weeks for the Anheuser-Busch sponsored event.
