Los Angeles Lakers to play 2 preseason games in Las Vegas

The Los Angeles Lakers will play two preseason games in Las Vegas this fall, the team announced today.

The Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves Oct. 6 and 7, respectively, at T-Mobile Arena, the team said via Twitter. Tipoff for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday.

The two-game swing completes a six-game preseason schedule that includes games against the Sacramento Kings and Western Conference Champions Golden State Warriors.

It will be the first time since Oct. 10, 2018, the Lakers have played in Las Vegas, when Los Angeles beat Golden State 123-113.
