Driver arrested after fatal three-car collision in Las Vegas

A suspect has been arrested for reckless driving resulting in death after he caused a fatal three-car collision in southern Las Vegas, according to Nevada State Police.

Skyler Flournoy was speeding in a right-turn lane on St. Rose Parkway near Bermuda Road the afternoon of Oct. 9, when he changed lanes to the left and his car struck the front of an SUV. The impact caused the SUV to collide with the right side of a sedan on its left.

The sedan began rotating counterclockwise and traveled northeast through the intersection, striking a traffic light support in the center median.

The driver of the sedan, 29-year-old Giovanni Deoria Kelly-Shelton of Henderson, was transported to University Medical Center. He was pronounced dead due to injuries he sustained in the crash.

Flournoy was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on multiple charges, police said.
