Metro Police said they were searching for a suspect in the slaying of a man who was shot Thursday while sitting in a parked car.
Officers responded about 5:50 p.m. Thursday to a report of a man shooting into a parked car near the 1200 block of Christy Lane, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The victim was sitting in the car when a man walked up and opened fire, police said. The suspect fled north on Christy Lane, police said.
