Police: Man dies days after Las Vegas car crash

A passenger in a car that hit a tree in Centennial Hills last week has died from injuries he suffered in the crash, according to Metro Police.

Trent William Hosmer Jr., 30, of Cincinnati was pronounced dead Friday, police said.

Hosmer was in a car that went out of control while navigating a curve about 6:40 a.m. Oct. 19 on Centennial Center Boulevard, south of Azure Drive, police said.

The car ran off the road and hit the tree, police said.

Hosmer and the driver, a 20-year-old woman from Las Vegas, were taken to University Medical Center, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead the day of the crash.
