A Busch blast from the past

A reader recently commented on this blog that I should draw more cartoons on the Busch brothers. I have done many cartoons on Kurt and Kyle over the past several years and their antics have made my job a lot easier.

But this reader’s comment made me think about the cartoons on the Busch boys that were never published. So I went back and searched my stack of old sketches and came across this cartoon that never made it into the paper.

I don’t remember why it wasn’t used or what the news event was that led to the idea, but I thought it would be fun to share it now.
