Motorcyclist killed in Henderson crash

A 46-year-old Henderson man died Friday after losing control of his motorcycle on Warm Springs Road.

Ronal Osvaldo Urrutia died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries, the Clark County Coroner's Office said.

Urrutia was riding a 2001 Honda motorcycle eastbound on Warm Springs Road, between Valle Verde Drive and Arroyo Grande Boulevard, about 5:30 p.m. Friday when his rear wheel started to skid. The front tire then locked, causing the motorcycle and the man to slide on the ground, Henderson Police said.

He was taken to St. Rose Sienna Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Toxicology tests will determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, Henderson authorities said. He was wearing a helmet.

This is the second traffic-related fatality in Henderson this year.
