A 25-year-old Las Vegas man died at the hospital after a crash last night between his 1997 Honda CBR motorcycle and a 2001 Ford Taurus, the Clark County coroner's office said today.
Christopher Snyder was northbound on Boulder Highway from Flamingo Road, traveling in the left land as David Bacus, 38 in the Taurus tried to make a U-turn from southbound Boulder Highway to the northbound lanes, Metro Police said. Bacus was not injured, police said.
The motorcycle struck the car's right rear at 6:56 p.m., Metro Police said. Snyder was thrown from the motorcycle and taken to Sunrise Trauma unit in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation by Metro Police.
