Casinos make tax time fun!

Leave it to the casinos of Las Vegas to make Tax Day fun while promoting themselves at the same time. (It's Tuesday, by the way, in case you've been in clockless casino mode for awhile)

Among the gimmicks: the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay invites taxpayers to skip the lines at the post office and drop off their returns at a mobile postal station (postage available for purchase) and drive-through lane near the aquarium's entrance. And whether or not you'll get a refund, you'll drive away with a commemorative t-shirt and two free admission vouchers for the attraction, good through June 30.

You can sweeten the sour inevitability of Tax Day with a quick cruise up the Strip to Caesars Palace, where the new 13-foot Payard Chocolate clock will dispense free truffles at intervals during operating hours. The Las Vegas Postal Service Service will have a mailbox at the Payard restaurant on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

Let us know in the comments if you've heard of any other Tax Day gimmicks around town.
