WASHINGTON -- Despite all the hand-wringing after Democrat Robert Daskas suddenly dropped out of the race against Republican Rep. Jon Porter, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid remains confident in his party’s recruitment efforts.
“I think in the next day or so we’ll have a candidate -- a very powerful candidate,” Reid said late last night.
Not that there’s any pressure or anything.
On a Dina Titus candidacy? Reid has had a number of conversations with her. “I hope she runs.”
