Eh? Wadya say?

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has proven particularly skillful at not publicly divulging his choice in the Democratic presidential contest.

Today, he not only declined to answer the question, he refused to hear it.

Reid was asked what he would do if the nomination contest was decided by superdelegates like him. Would he go with his state’s choice?, asked a reporter standing not far from his side at a press briefing. (In Nevada, that choice would be Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.)

Reid quipped himself right out of harm’s way: “Can’t hear a word you’re saying.”
