WASHINGTON — For Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a one-time amateur fighter, the question was more than academic: Is President Barack Obama more slugger or boxer?
“He would be clearly a boxer. He has a lot of finesse. He is cool in a time of stress,” Reid said this morning at an event in Washington.
“Obama’s style is one where he never raises his voice, never swears – he leaves that to Rahm,” Reid said about the president's famously foul-mouthed Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
“He’s about as cool and calm a guy as I’ve ever dealt with.”
Reid spoke at a breakfast event hosted by National Journal attended by more than 100 lobbyists, business representatives, journalists and others.
