We implode old casinos, will we implode old houses too?

Homes that quickly arose due to the housing boom in our desert oasis, and were once thought of as ritzy, have lost some of their glamor in the mire of numerous foreclosures and an overall dropping market.

The Los Angeles Times profiled how the Las Vegas tradition of keeping up with the Joneses - which often means blowing up what isn't up to par - has affected the overwhelming amount of aged houses left over from the housing crisis that hit Las Vegas particularly hard.
