Pollutants responsible for hazy sky

According to an expert, the dark haze that has covered the majority of the valley's skyline is attributed to rising pollution levels.

Professor David Hassenzahl at UNLV's Department of Environmental Studies said that the haze is comprised mainly of desert dust and sand lifted up by the wind, but also noted that large amounts of pollutants are included in that mix.
