What happens in Las Vegas restaurants could end up fueling a tour bus.
That is what the owner of Escape Adventures, Jared Fisher, has been working to fulfill. His company, which offers bicycle trips into Red Rock Canyon in addition to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, collects used cooking oil from local restaurants to fuel his company's six diesel vehicles. The oil is disposed of in large containers behind the restraurants near their dumpsters.
