City officials are set to officially commence the construction of a 61-acre development called Union Park, Thursday, April 24.
The site, just east of the historic downtown that is lined with courthouses and some of the city's original casinos, was contrived in the hopes of reviving a traditional downtown culture in Las Vegas.
