It looks like Oscar De La Hoya's last fight will come against a marquee opponent after all. Sources close to the boxer indicate that the Golden Boy (39-5, 30 KOs) will take on Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) on Dec. 6 likely at the MGM Grand.
Boxing promoter Bob Arum, of Top Rank who promotes Pacquiao, did not confirm a deal. He did say however, that De La Hoya would hold a media conference on Thursday to discus his opponent.
