Residents in St. George, Utah, spoke out against the pollution that would be caused by the proposed $1.3 billion, 750-megawatt coal-fired Toquop power plant that would be built 32 miles away near Mesquite, Nev., where a public hearing is scheduled on the plant at 6 tonight.
