Nevada Democrats still playing a role

More than a month after Nevada's Democratic caucuses, the state will continue to play a role today in the presidential nomination race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Democratic delegates elected Jan. 19 gather at county conventions around the state to elect delegates to send to the state convention.

"Because the caucuses were nonbinding, delegates at the conventions will be able to change their minds about which candidate to support. That could influence how many delegates for each candidate ultimately go to the national convention," writes Anjeanette Damon of the Reno Gazette-Journal.
