While the housing market in Las Vegas may be seeing a slowdown, recent penthouse sales at the MGM CityCenter, which Dubai World now owns half of, have set new records for price-per-square-foot.
According to the agent who sold three penthouses in one of the four high-rise developments within the massive complex, prices from the sales ranged from $1,500 to $2,400 a square foot.
Keep in mind that the now imploded Boardwalk Hotel and Casino, which attracted people looking for a bargain, once stood on that property.
